On the night of october 9, 2004, the yankee air museum’s hangar on the northeast side of willow run airport (kyip) burned down. Peter grant organized a drive to the yankee air museum and 12 lucky club members had the opportunity to fly in a 1945 boeing 17g flying fortress.
